We are close to all amenities , and all the buses stop just a two min walk away . we are a short stroll on the promenade to our great theatre and conference centre where there is always something to go and see,. Rhos on Sea is a lovely harbour to sit and chill over a coffee, Conwy is the same distance away with its great views over the estuary and its magnificent castle..there is loads to see here in Llandudno poppies has a great evening meal menu ,all food is home cooked and all tastes are catered for. you will be made very welcome. |

You can either take a leisurely stroll along the promenade to Llandudno town centre (15 minutes), with its Victorian splendour or take the bus from around the corner of our street that run every 10 minutes. Llandudno is a busy all-season shopping centre with its new Parc Llandudno high street stores. There are bars and restaurants and a regular variety of entertainment at the Venue Cymru Theatre, which is located near to Buxton House. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, golfing, short breaks and family holidays.  Glyn Isa (meaning lower valley) 17th Century Country House Bed and Breakfast is privately owned and has 5 individually designed, beautifully appointed double/four poster en suite rooms, all of which are pictured in the photo gallery. The house is one mile from Rowen village near Conwy and dates back to 1626 . It is set in 10 acres of mature gardens and land against a backdrop of mountains on the edge of Snowdonia National Park with lovely views over the Conwy valley, just next to a fishing lake and Dutch Pancake House. The house retains many of its original features, antiques, beams and open inglenook fireplaces. This is a peaceful spot, but the medieval walled town of Conwy, with Edward 1st, 13th Century castle plus many shops, bars and restaurants is 3 miles and Llandudno with more shops, bars and restaurants less than 10 minutes drive away. The award winning village of Rowen is 1 mile or 15 minute easy walk where you will find quaint cottages, beautiful gardens, a post office and a great village pub which hosts its famous Welsh singing every Friday night. Or you could stroll to our other local eatery, an Egon Ronay 16th Century Coaching inn, also a 15 minute walk. Smart/casual dress please and sorry, no children or pets. Private parking within our gates and land. ARRIVALS ARE STRICTLY AFTER 4 PM. This is also our home, so please let us know your arrival time in advance. Group bookings of no more than 6 people. |
